All Lesson Products TERMS AND CONDITIONS

For all lesson categories, all lessons sold are subject to the following Product Terms and Conditions.

The client is entitled to receive the designated number of lessons purchased from the Company, administered by a suitable instructor. Lessons are taught via Zoom and must be used within the specific time period associated with the lesson product purchased.

Lessons must be scheduled either through the website (https://stepbystepmusic.com) or directly with the assigned instructor. Lessons may only be scheduled during available calendar slots as shown on the online scheduling calendar.

Scheduled lessons must either be attended during the scheduled time or rescheduled to another available time within the paid product period. Any request to reschedule must be made at least 24 hours prior to the originally scheduled lesson time.

Any lessons that are not scheduled or used within the specified product period will be forfeited and may not be carried forward, refunded, or credited.

Lessons are valid only for the student designated at the time of purchase. Lessons are non-transferable and may not be shared, reassigned, or resold.

SUBSCRIPTION-BASED LESSON PRODUCTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Subscription-based lesson products are any lesson products that include the word “subscription” in the product title.

AUTOMATIC RENEWAL AND BILLING
Subscription lesson products are billed automatically on a recurring four-week schedule using the original payment method provided at checkout. Billing begins on the original purchase date and continues every four weeks unless the subscription is canceled or paused in accordance with these terms.

LESSON USAGE PERIOD
Each subscription period includes a designated number of lessons that must be scheduled and used within the corresponding four-week billing period. Lessons do not roll over to future subscription periods.

EXPIRATION OF UNUSED LESSONS
Any lessons not scheduled or used within the applicable four-week subscription period are forfeited at the end of that period and will not be carried forward, refunded, or credited.

CANCELLATION AND PAUSE POLICY
To cancel or pause a subscription, the client must submit a written request stating their intent to cancel or pause by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation or pause requests must be received at least 72 hours prior to the next scheduled billing date. Requests received less than 72 hours before the billing date may result in the upcoming charge being processed. Cancellation or pause prevents future charges after the effective date but does not extend the current subscription period or reinstate any unused or forfeited lessons.

SETUP FEE
Any setup fee added at checkout is a one-time, non-recurring fee charged only at the time of initial purchase. No additional setup fees will be charged as long as the subscription remains active and continues to renew without interruption. If a subscription is canceled or paused for any reason, a new setup fee will apply if the subscription is later restarted.

NO PRORATION OR REFUNDS
Subscription charges are non-refundable and non-prorated. No refunds or credits will be issued for partially used subscription periods, missed lessons, or unused lessons.

PAYMENT FAILURE
If a subscription payment fails or is declined, access to lesson scheduling may be suspended until payment is successfully processed. The subscription period timeline is not extended due to failed or delayed payments.

INSTRUCTOR AVAILABILITY, ILLNESS, AND TIME OFF
In the event that the Company or assigned instructor is unable to conduct a scheduled lesson due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, the affected lesson will not be forfeited and may be rescheduled outside of the standard four-week subscription billing period, subject to instructor availability.

The Company also reserves the right to take up to two weeks of planned time off per calendar year. Lessons affected by such planned time off may be rescheduled outside of the standard four-week subscription billing period. These rescheduled lessons do not extend, pause, or alter the subscription billing schedule.

All rescheduled lessons remain subject to scheduling availability and reasonable timeframes as determined by the Company.

LESSON PACKAGE PRODUCTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Lesson Packages are lesson products that do not include the word “subscription” in the product title. These lessons must be purchased manually for each set and do not renew automatically.

LESSON PURCHASE AND SCHEDULING

Anytime lesson products are purchased upfront in designated sets, typically in packs of four lessons. Lessons must be scheduled either through the website (https://stepbystepmusic.com) or directly with the assigned instructor, and may only be scheduled during available calendar slots as shown on the online scheduling calendar.

LESSON USAGE PERIOD

All lessons included in an Anytime Lesson product must be used within one year from the date of purchase. Lessons not used within this period will be forfeited and will not be carried forward, refunded, or credited.
